A reputable public institution is seeking to recruit a highly qualified, experienced and results-oriented professional for the position of Director, Vaccine Manufacturing and Marketing Job Purpose •To provide leadership, technical and administrative direction within a reputable public institution to ensure the effective and efficient performance of vaccine manufacturing and marketing functions of the organisation Key Duties and Responsibilities The successful candidate will be required to: •Provide technical input for the formulation and review of policies relating to vaccine manufacturing and marketing •Lead the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programmes and activities of the Directorate •Ensure the efficient and effective management of the human, material and financial resources of the Directorate •Collaborate with relevant regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with national and international standards for domestic vaccine manufacturing •Collaborate with researchers and manufacturers in the domestic development of vaccines and sera •Lead the development, implementation and review of market strategies for the promotion of domestically produced vaccines •Lead the development, implementation and review of technology transfer processes to domestic vaccine manufacturers •Build and maintain strategic relationships with government institutions, public and private sector partners, development partners and other stakeholders both locally and internationally. •Ensure the preparation of annual work plans, budgets and periodic report of the Directorate •Oversee the implementation of the performance management system within the Directorate Qualification Required & Experience •A minimum of a master's degree in Life Sciences, Bio-manufacturing, Chemical Engineering or any other related discipline from an accredited tertiary institution •Must be a member of a relevant and recognised health professional body •A minimum of 10 years post-Bachelor's relevant work experience, 5 years of which must be at a Senior Management level in a reputable institution Competencies and Skills •Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards governing vaccine and sem research, development and manufacturing •Strong leaderships, networking and stakeholder management skills •Strong knowledge and practical understanding of Life Sciences and Global Health systems •Strong negotiation, lobbying and conflict management skills •Good knowledge of Public Administration, Performance management and policy management •Good knowledge of financial management laws and regulations •Good knowledge of labour laws, industrial relations and regulation processes •Strong project and progamme management skills •Strong analytical, critical thinking and innovation skills Location: Accra How To Apply For The Job Interested and qualified applicants should submit: •Application Letter •Detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) •Copies of academic and professional certificates Applications should be submitted via email to: info@trimaxcareersolutions.com Closing Date: 05 June, 2026
