We are committed to continuous improvement, professional growth, and community-focused care. Role Description The Patient Growth Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role at EyeContact, Kumasi. This role is responsible for driving patient acquisition and retention by managing outreach initiatives, coordinating appointment schedules, and supporting patient engagement programs. Day-to-day tasks include assisting patients with booking and confirming appointments, maintaining accurate patient records, and following up with patients to encourage regular visits and adherence to care plans. The coordinator will help implement marketing and community engagement activities, such as calling prospective patients, responding to inquiries, and supporting social media or local campaigns to increase awareness of EyeContact’s services. The role also involves collaborating with clinical and front-desk teams to ensure a smooth patient experience from initial contact through post-visit follow-up, while tracking basic metrics. Responsibilities ● Build and maintain relationships with referral sources to generate a steady stream of new patient referrals. ● Plan, promote, and run patient acquisition events such as workshops and open houses, then follow up with attendees to convert interest into bookings. ● Follow up on inbound inquiries and leads to convert them into booked appointments. ● Support the clinic's referral and community content efforts, helping keep our messaging and outreach materials active and consistent. ● Represent the clinic at community and outreach opportunities as they arise. Patient Retention (Supporting) ● Assist with the clinic's recall system, reaching out to patients who are due for a follow-up visit or their two-year glasses replacement. ● Reach out to lapsed patients to help bring them back into active care. ● Support conversations with existing patients about their care and explain how EyeContact subsidizes payments for those unable to afford essential care. Qualifications -Demonstrated skills in patient communication, customer service, and relationship building to support patient acquisition and retention. -Skilled in pitch deck presentaions and public speaking. -Ability to coordinate schedules, manage appointments, and maintain organized records using practice management or scheduling systems. -Strong verbal and written communication skills for handling inquiries, confirming visits, and supporting basic patient education. -Attention to detail, reliability, and time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a busy clinical environment. -Basic familiarity with marketing, community outreach, or social media engagement related to healthcare services is beneficial. -Comfort working on-site in a clinical setting and collaborating with optometrists, technicians, and front-desk staff. -Prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or customer-facing roles is an advantage; experience in eye care or vision services is a plus. -Bachelor’s degree or diploma required.
