Description
Job Purpose •Under the supervision of the Chief Executive the Director of Administration will maintain an effective administrative support system for the smooth running of the hospital. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction, management, and expert advice on all administrative matters within Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. Key Duties and Responsibilities •Manage official high-level correspondence and compile comprehensive administrative reports •Advise executive leadership on operational improvements and administrative procedures •Ensure the consistent availability of supplies and logistics, advising on strategics resource allocation and utilization •Coordinate/collate the preparation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the hospital's corporate and annual operational plans •Supervise the preparation and consolidation of the hospital's annual budget •Ensure the clear and effective dissemination of health administrative information to staff and clients •Promote and enforce adherence to institutional health and safety policies, guidelines and protocols Qualification Required & Experience •Must be a Senior Professional currently on the payroll of the Ministry of Health (MOH) or any of its agencies •A postgraduate qualification in Administration or related field.
