The role focuses on achieving sales targets, expanding market share, and ensuring effective distribution of flour and commodity products including sugar, rice, edible oil, and related FMCG products. Min Qualification: Degree Experience Level: Mid level Experience Length: 3 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Ghana Job descriptions & requirements Key Responsibilities Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Develop and maintain a strong network of wholesalers, distributors, dealers, and retail customers across Ghana. Identify and onboard new customers to increase market penetration. Promote and sell the company's range of flour, sugar, rice, edible oil, and other commodity products. Conduct regular market visits to strengthen customer relationships and ensure product availability. Monitor competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and market trends, providing timely feedback to management. Negotiate pricing, trading terms, and promotional activities within approved company guidelines. Ensure timely collection of payments and manage customer credit in accordance with company policy. Resolve customer complaints promptly while maintaining excellent customer service. Prepare and submit sales reports, market intelligence reports, sales forecasts, and customer visit reports. Collaborate with the logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and product delivery. Execute trade promotions and marketing campaigns to increase product visibility and sales. Represent the company professionally at trade exhibitions, dealer meetings, and customer events. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years' proven sales experience in the FMCG industry, specifically in the sale of flour and commodity products such as sugar, rice, edible oil, and similar products. Demonstrated experience managing distributors, wholesalers, and dealer accounts. Experience and Skills Must have an established and active dealer/distributor network across Ghana. Strong knowledge of the Ghanaian FMCG and commodity market. Excellent negotiation, selling, and relationship management skills. Strong business development and account management capabilities. Ability to analyze market trends and identify sales opportunities. Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Results-oriented with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience using CRM systems is an added advantage. Personal Attributes Highly motivated and self-driven. Honest, professional, and customer-focused. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Resilient and able to work under pressure. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Achievement of monthly and annual sales targets. Growth in sales revenue and market share. Number of new dealers/distributors acquired. Customer retention and satisfaction. Product availability and market coverage. Timely collection of receivables. Accuracy and timeliness of sales reporting. Other Requirements Valid Ghanaian driver's licence. Ability to travel nationwide on a regular basis. Familiarity with all major wholesale markets and distribution channels across Ghana.
