Role Description The Product Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Accra, responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of ECHT’s environmental monitoring products and platforms. Day-to-day, the Product Manager collaborates with engineering, data, and operations teams to define product roadmaps, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery of solutions aligned with regulatory and customer needs. The role involves gathering and analyzing user requirements, translating technical capabilities into clear product specifications, and coordinating testing, deployment, and continuous improvement. The Product Manager also engages with clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders to communicate product value, support implementation, and identify new opportunities for innovation in emissions monitoring and environmental compliance. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in product management or a closely related role, preferably in technology, environmental services, or data-driven solutions. Strong skills in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable product plans. Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, data, operations, and business teams to drive product development and delivery. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with data-driven decision-making and performance tracking. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present product updates and insights to technical and non-technical audiences. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage. Familiarity with environmental regulations, emissions monitoring systems, or industrial compliance frameworks is highly beneficial. Proven ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail.
