Job Summary
•Responsible for preparing detailed architectural drawings, plans and specification based on the designs and instructions provided by Architects and project managers. The role ensures accuracy, compliance with building regulations and timely delivery of technical drawings for construction and approval purposes
Key
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, layouts, sections, elevations and working drawings using CAD software (e.g AutoCAD, Revit)
- Revise and update drawings based n instructions and design changes
- Interpret sketches, conceptual designs and specifications into technical drawings
- Ensure drawings comply with relevant building codes, standards and regulations
- Assist in preparing submission drawings for statutory approvals
- Coordinate drawings with structural, mechanical and electrical consultants
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of drawings and revisions
- Conduct sites visits where necessary to take measurements and verify details
- Support the project team in resolving technical drawings issues during construction
- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of project information
Experience
- Degree in Architectural Draughtsmanship or related field
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, knowledge of Revit, ArchiCAD, or similar software is an added advantage
- Good understanding of construction methods and materials
- Knowledge of local building regulations and standards
- Strong technical drawing and detailing skills
