About the Role
AutoShack Ghana is looking for a passionate, driven and highly curious Automotive Engineering Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, automotive technology, research and data. This role is suited to someone who is eager to learn, investigate real-world automotive problems and translate technical information into clear, useful knowledge for others.
Key
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed research on electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles, including technologies, systems, components and emerging developments.
- Write clear and engaging articles, technical explainers and educational materials to help consumers better understand electric and hybrid vehicles.
- Use data-analytic tools and techniques to extract, organize and analyze data, and present findings in a simple and understandable way.
- Support the engineering team with research, technical investigations and other automotive-related tasks.
- Develop knowledge and practical ability in identifying, diagnosing and understanding faults and problems in electric vehicles.
- Stay curious about new automotive technologies and continuously build knowledge through research, training and hands-on learning.
- What We Are Looking For
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering. Candidates with Bachelor's degrees in Electronic Engineering or Electrical Engineering may also be considered.
- Master's degree applicants are welcome.
- A very strong passion and drive for automobiles, automotive technology and the future of mobility.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret information and communicate it clearly.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, especially the ability to explain technical subjects in a simple and engaging manner.
- Willingness to learn how to identify, diagnose and understand problems on electric vehicles.
- A fast learner who can juggle different types of tasks, adapt quickly and learn new things on the fly.
