The HR Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the human resources function within the organization. This role involves strategic planning, employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, training and development, and ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations. Min Qualification: Degree Experience Level: Senior level Experience Length: 5 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Ghana Job descriptions & requirements Key Responsibilities: Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Provide expertise and guidance on workforce planning, organizational design, and change management initiatives. Talent Acquisition: Oversee the recruitment and selection process, ensuring effective sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees. Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, universities, and other talent sources. Develop and implement creative and effective strategies for attracting and retaining top talent. Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts in a fair and timely manner. Provide guidance to supervisors and managers on effective employee communication and conflict resolution techniques. Monitor employee morale and take proactive measures to enhance overall employee satisfaction. Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management processes, including goal setting, regular feedback, and performance appraisals. Assist managers in addressing performance issues and providing coaching to improve employee productivity and engagement. Training and Development: Identify training needs across the organization and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Coordinate with department heads to create professional development plans for employees at all levels. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary improvements. Compliance and Legal: Stay up-to-date with relevant labor laws and regulations and ensure the organization's policies and practices remain compliant. Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, contracts, and documentation related to disciplinary actions. Manage HR-related audits and government reporting requirements. Benefits and Compensation: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies. Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Benchmark compensation levels against industry standards and adjust as needed. HR Metrics and Reporting: Develop and track key HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives and programs. Provide regular reports to senior management on HR-related metrics, trends, and insights. Administrative function Oversee all Administrative function in the business Competency Profile Technical Requirements : Proven experience overseeing people management at management level or other mid-managerial position wit hin similar or a related industry. Strong understanding of recruitment strategy, service management and performance management principles. Familiarity with diverse business functions such as training, business development, communications management, employee experience, is an advantage. Knowledge and Skills Required Ability to define the long term business strategy while also addressing the hands-on tactical needs of the business at all levels. Proactive, ethical, high energy, hands-on manager with great interpersonal skills to function across all levels of the organization as well as with external entities. Thoughtful and demonstrates good judgment and strong decision-making based on accurate and timely analysis. Strong organizational and project management skills; attention to detail. Proven business management experience in an unstructured and fast-paced environment. Proven experience building strong business partnerships and executive presence; able to establish credibility and support with other stakeholders. Outstanding time management skills. Results-oriented approach to work; willingness to do whatever it takes to help the team. Ability to identify and implement efficiencies and process improvements. Able to deliver highest standards of customer service Strong problem solving and creative skills. Understand the extended enterprise and have an appreciation for value creation based on understanding of overall vision for the business. Educational Requirements Minimum of first degree in a related field. Masters or Professional certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus. Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience.
