NUMBER – MTNGH-TRF(BT)-003-26 / CVs SHOULD BE SAVED IN APPLICANT’S NAMES Position: Senior Manager, Business Transformation Level: MTN Level 3H Function: Transformation Department: Business Transformation Location: Accra Reports to: Chief Transformation Officer Job Summary •The role is responsible for spearheading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives aimed at solving complex business challenges, reengineering critical business processes, and enhancing operational efficiency. •This role is central to driving organizational digital innovation, performance improvements and embedding a culture of continuous change management and improvement across MTN Ghana. Key Tasks 1. Transformation Strategy Execution •Lead the design and execution of transformation initiatives that align with MTN Ghana’s strategic goals. •Collaborate with divisional heads to identify transformation opportunities across operations, customer experience, technology, and commercial functions. •Develop and maintain a framework and road map on the implementation of business transformation initiatives 2. Process Improvement & Operational Excellence •Lead continuous process improvement efforts and promote a culture of operational excellence and innovation across the enterprise. •Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, duplication, rework, and failure points when planning and implementing business transformation initiatives •Define process redesign strategies, and support implementation using Agile, Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, BPM, or similar methodologies •Maintain a repository of all business transformation initiatives from its initiation, implementation and hand over to requesting function to ensure processes are clearly documented, owned, and governed. 3. Project Cost Optimization •Identify, provide guidance and implement initiatives that reduce project costs without compromising value delivery. •Partner with Finance, Procurement, and Implementation teams to track and report cost optimization opportunities and actuals. 4. Change Management •Develop and execute change management plans to support the different transformation initiatives. •Drive stakeholder engagement, communication, and change readiness across impacted business units. •Responsible for tracking and monitoring the change management initiatives to success. Escalating where necessary 5. Project Performance Monitoring & Analytics •Monitor performance of key transformation and strategic projects using dashboards, scorecards, and analytics tools. •Work closely with the Portfolio Governance & Analytics Team to develop a Transformation Performance Dashboard for CEO and ExCom visibility. •Monthly and adhoc reporting of business transformation initiatives as requested by line manager Qualification Required & Experience Education •Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, IT, or related field; •MSC, MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification an added advantage •Project Management Certification (PMP, Scrum, PRINCE2) or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred. •Experience Minimum of 8 –10 years of experience in business transformation, strategy execution, or enterprise project delivery. •Strong experience in process improvement methodologies in large organizations (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen). •Proven ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional initiatives in operational excellence programs. •Advanced proficiency in performance analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel). •Experience in telecoms, digital, or highly regulated industries preferred Technical & Functional Competencies: •Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and transformation frameworks. •Expertise in process improvement and operational excellence programs. •Advance knowledge and good appreciation of continuous improvement methodologies/tools e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, BPM, etc. •Proficiency in changing management practices and tools. •Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills. •Strategic thinking with strong business acumen. •Process reengineering and optimization. •Project Management •Stakeholder management Must live the MTN Values of •Lead with Care, Collaborate with Agility, Serve with Respect, Can Do with Integrity, Act with Inclusion Must exhibit the MTN Vital Behaviors of •Complete Candor, Complete Accountability, Active Collaboration & Get it done.
