Job Summary
• The job holder will oversee the management, maintenance and operation of all company-owned facilities and ensure that all properties and infrastructure are safe, functional, cost-effective and maintained to the higest standards while supporting the organisational's operational objectives
Key
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive facilities management strategies for all TDC Ghana LTD properties
- Plan, coordinate and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of buildings, offices, warehouse, roads, utilities and other infrastructure
- Manage service providers, contractors and maintenance personnel to ensure quality service delivery
- Prepare and manage facilities, maintenance budgets and control operational costs
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and statutory regulations
- Conduct regular inspections of company facilities and implement improvement plans
- Oversee utilities management, including electricity, water, waste management ands security services
- Coordinate renovations, repairs, refurbishment projects and space planning
- Develop maintenance schedules and asset management plans
- Ensure emergency preparedness and business continuity for all facilities
- Prepare reports on facilities performance, maintenance activities ad capital improvement projects
- Support procurement activities related to facilities management and maintenance services
Experience
- • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Technology, Architecture or a related discipline and a professional certification in Facilities Management or Project Management
- • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 6 years in a managerial role
- • Strong knowledge of building, systems, maintenance management, health and safety regulations and contract administration
- • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and organizational skills
- • Strong financial management and budgeting skills
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facilities management software
