Responsibilities
- Experienced with Metso equipment, i.e. Grinding mill equipment
- Perform Field Service activities & routines (both at customer site and office-based) with
- support/supervision level in-line with training certification.
- Field Service routines include:
- Basic customer problem-solving,
- Repairs and preventative maintenance work,
- Equipment inspections with recommendations,
- Assembly/disassembly, installation & commissioning
- Trade specific discipline work (hydraulics, mechanics, automation, etc)
- Operation and maintenance activities
- Customer training on basic operation and maintenance
- Remote support to colleagues and customers
- Follow Metso processes, instructions and training in performance of duties, with a specific
- focus on our brand requirements, certification principles, field service process and proper
- utilization of the Field Service digital tools (FSM, DIT, REX)
- Follow Metso & customer HSE requirements, ensuring adherence to the Metso “Modus Operandi” in performing duties.
- Deliver site reports, time sheets & travel expense reports after each job in a timely manner
