Role Summary
As the Finance Officer, you will work closely with the Finance Manager to maintain accurate financial records, process payments, and assist with financial reporting. Responsibilities
- Accurately process and record accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are logged in the accounting system.
- Perform regular bank and ledger reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Manage the preparation and issuance of invoices, and process vendor and supplier payments promptly.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date digital and physical financial files, receipts, and documentation.
- Assist the Finance Manager in preparing monthly financial summaries, trial balances, and ad-hoc reports.
- Gather and organize necessary documentation to support internal and external audits.
- Assist in filing statutory returns and ensuring basic tax compliance under the guidance of senior finance staff.
