- Yobsons Micro Credit is seeking a Head of Finance to safeguard financial integrity, capital adequacy and funding sustainability for a lending institution with treasury and wholesale-funding responsibilities.
- Key
Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing, structuring and management of wholesale credit lines, shareholder capital injections and approved debt instruments.
- Own capital-adequacy planning and maintain appropriate buffers above regulatory minimums.
- Manage maturity mismatches, institutional liquidity and contingency funding plans.
- Prepare IFRS-compliant financial statements and oversee statutory and Bank of Ghana audits.
- Ensure accurate and timely Bank of Ghana prudential returns and statutory filings.
- Jointly oversee expected credit loss provisioning with the Chief Risk Officer.
- Lead budgeting, management accounts, tax compliance, pricing support and financial controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics; MBA or Master's in Finance is an advantage.
- Full professional accounting qualification such as ICAG, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or recognised equivalent.
- Minimum ten to twelve years' progressive financial management experience.
- At least four to five years' senior finance leadership
Experience
- in banking, microfinance, savings and loans or another NBFI.
- Strong IFRS, treasury, liquidity management, capital planning, wholesale-funding negotiation and regulatory reporting skills.
