Develop, implement, and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and management systems. Ensure compliance with Ghanaian occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company standards. Conduct workplace inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards. Lead incident investigations, prepare reports, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Organize and deliver HSE training, inductions, and awareness programs for employees and contractors. Monitor environmental performance, including waste management, pollution prevention, and resource conservation initiatives. Coordinate emergency preparedness plans, evacuation drills, and business continuity procedures. Maintain HSE documentation, records, and regulatory reports. Advise management on HSE risks and recommend practical solutions to improve workplace safety. Foster a proactive safety culture through employee engagement and continuous improvement initiatives.
