Responsibilities
- Safely operate HIAB trucks or assigned heavy-duty vehicles for the movement of materials, goods and equipment to customer or company locations.
- Operate truck-mounted HIAB cranes for loading, unloading, lifting and positioning activities in line with approved lifting plans, load charts and safe working limits.
- Secure loads properly and coordinate with riggers, banksmen, site personnel and customers during loading, transportation and delivery.
- Conduct routine pre-use and post-use checks on vehicles, cranes, lifting accessories and related equipment.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness, report defects promptly and support basic care of assigned equipment.
- Comply with traffic regulations, site rules, health and safety requirements, company policies and industry lifting standards.
- Complete delivery notes, logbooks, transport documents and operational records, and report accidents, incidents, delays or equipment faults without delay.
