Job Purpose
- • Supporting the risk assessment of IT general controls (ITGC) to ensure compliance with internal procedures, relevant standards and regulations within the organization
- Key
Responsibilities
- The IT auditor shall be responsible for performing Cyber and information security auditing
- The IT auditor shall review the institution's survivability, backup and recovery processes at least once a year
- Audit findings on cyber and information security risks shall be reported to the Head of Internal Audit
- The IT auditor shall be responsible for performing a follow-up process for tracking and monitoring cyber and information security audit issues and an escalation mechanism to notify the Head of Internal Audit
- Perform IT risk assessment for the institution and make available information that suggests a vulnerability or breach
- Review technological projects and implementation to identify potential vulnerabilities, including disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Ensure compliance with regulatory
Requirements
- Managing the internal audit tool including creating audit plans on the software, approving audit schedules, reviewing processes and controls audited branch audit personnel's etc
- Any other role which will be deemed necessary to ensure business efficacy
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in the relevant field
- Master's degree will be a plus
- ISO/IEC 27001 lead auditor is an added advantage
- Relevant IT Audit Professional Certifications
