Liaises with law enforcement and legal advisers during major incidents. Chairs the incident war room.
Responsibilities
Take command of all P1/P2 incident response operations as the designated incident commander. Develop and execute containment, eradication, and recovery plans in coordination with affected constituents. Chair the incident war room; coordinate all responders, communications, and decision-making. Liaise with National CERT and law enforcement and the Legal Adviser on evidence preservation and criminal referral. Ensure chain of custody is maintained for all evidence collected during IR activities. Produce post-incident reports (PIR) and coordinate lessons-learned reviews. Maintain and improve IR runbooks, playbooks, and decision trees. Deploy on-site to constituent organisations when remote support is insufficient. Coordinate with the National and Sectoral CERTs during cross-border incidents.
