•To provide leadership, technical and administrative direction for the efficient and effective management of the finance functions of the institute Key Duties and
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be required to: •Provide inputs for the formulation of financial policies of the institute •Lead the implement, monitoring and evaluation of financial programmes and activities •Ensure the efficient and effective management of the institute's financial, human and material resources •Mobilize financial resources to support the institute's operations and strategic objectives •Oversee the preparation, consolidation and timely submission of annual budgets and periodic financial reports •Ensure accurate analysis, interpretation and reporting of financial statements •Ensure compliance with applicable financial management laws, regulations, fiscal policies and accounting standards (IPSAS). •Oversee the development, implementation and review of financial control systems and accounting manuals •Ensure the implement of audit recommendations and strengthen internal controls •Oversee the performance management system within the Directorate •Maintain effective collaboration with relevant ministries, Departments, Agencies and stakeholders on financial matters Qualification Required &
