Experience
•A minimum of 5–7 years’ professional GIS experience, including demonstrated support to mining or large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly in land access, compensation, and resettlement activities •Proven ability to integrate spatial and social datasets •
supporting RAPs, LRPs, or livelihood restoration programs •
engaging with traditional authorities and regulatory bodies Knowledge & Skills •Proficiency in: ArcGIS Pro QGIS Global Mapper GPS/GNSS data processing •Strong spatial analysis and cartographic skills •
working with drone imagery and remote sensing datasets •Data management, validation, and QA/QC capabilities •Advanced Information Management application skills •Ability to clearly explain GIS outputs to non?technical audiences •Strong report writing and visual communication skills •Confidence engaging with communities, regulators, and management
Education
& Qualification •Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geomatics, Surveying, Geography, Remote Sensing, or a related field •ESRI Certification or a specialization in Remote Sensing is an added advantage •A postgraduate qualification in GIS, Land Administration, Environmental Management, or a related discipline is an added advantage
