Job Purpose
To ensure the safe execution of all project activities while maintaining compliance with health, safety, environmental, and mining regulatory requirements. Key
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement the Project HSE Management Plan. • Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments. • Monitor compliance with permit-to-work systems and safe work procedures. • Conduct site safety inspections and audits. • Facilitate toolbox talks, safety meetings, and awareness campaigns. • Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions. • Develop corrective and preventive action plans. • Monitor contractor HSE performance and compliance. • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). • Coordinate emergency preparedness and response activities. • Monitor environmental management measures and reporting. • Maintain HSE statistics and performance reports. • Ensure compliance with mining regulations, environmental permits, and client requirements.
