Location: Upper East and North-East regions of Ghana with periodic visits to the Tamale office. Frequent or occasional visits to other countries covered by Tree Aid. Duration: One year renewable with a probation of 03 months, subject to performance and funding availability. Responsible to: Country Programme Manager Overall aim: The Project Coordinator will oversee the general coordination, implementation, and monitoring of a Nature-Based Solutions project. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, planning and reviews and ensuring compliance the project standards, and driving project outcomes to achieve environmental and social impact goals. Key roles/ tasks: 1. Project Management: •Develop and implement project plans to time and budgets. •Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are met. •Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports and updates. •Support to develop Tree Aid new projects by providing project ideas, sharing funding opportunities and creating visibility of the organisation. 2. Carbon Credit Development: •Coordinate the development of project outcomes, including validation and verification processes. •Ensure compliance with applicable project standards and methodologies (Verra 0047). •Manage stakeholder engagement, including farmer groups and community representatives and land tenure systems. 3. Stakeholder Collaboration: •Build and maintain relationships with funding partners, government agencies, and local communities. •Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and capacity-building activities. 4. Monitoring and Reporting: •Track project performance and prepare regular status reports. •Analyse data and provide insights to improve project outcomes. •Disseminate lessons learned to stakeholders and partners. 5.
