Location: Iduapriem Mine - Tarkwa EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Permanent OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE •To coordinate and manage daily activities of process shift personnel, ensuring safety, efficiency and quality of work. ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES •Ensure the various KPI’s, mill throughput (670tph wet), milling efficiency (92% utilization), cyclone efficiencies (65% passing 106µm), recovery (96%), 1 elution strip per 12-hour shift) at a given mill availability are achieved. •Troubleshoot problems that hinder production and check and monitor the use of required reagent addition rates as determined by the metallurgical technical team to ensure maximum plant recovery and reagent optimization. •Ensure all mills run within the required set parameters (power, density, weight) for optimum operations. •Implement safe work procedures that will ensure the safe and efficient control of all circuit within the plant. •Work closely with the process control group with regards to operational changes and troubleshooting of circuit deficiencies. •Prepare shift report on occurrences during the shift •Ensure good housekeeping for the various unit of the plant •Ensure maximum labour utilization and compile timely labour hours work per shift for payment of salaries and allowances. Experience
