Location: OBUASI MINE EMPLOYMENT STATUS: PERMANENT OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE •The Mechanical Technician – Light Vehicle reports to the Workshop Supervisor – Light Mobile Equipment. •The role is accountable for executing planned and ad hoc maintenance, servicing, and repair work on light vehicles and trucks in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner, as instructed. ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES Safety •Work according to Total Quality Management principles, ensuring zero defect objectives and safety. •Apply HSE regulations with zero tolerance for breaches. •Demonstrate safety behavior aligned with AGAG’s vision and values. •Actively seek opportunities to improve design and field safety performance. •Accept personal responsibility for personal health and safety and that of all personnel affected by the work. Environment •Adhere to the site Environmental Management Plan. •Comply with AGAG environmental management systems and all legal environmental requirements. •Take action to prevent environmental pollution. •Follow operating procedures and environmental rules relevant to the assigned job. •Correct or report environmental deviations and make suggestions for improvement. •Follow established incident reporting procedures. People •Attend required training, development, and performance improvement programs.
