Location: Accra Reports to: Senior Manager, Digital Services Job Summary Drive the implementation and growth of MTN’s Digital Services, Music, Content, and Lifestyle portfolio by managing strategic partnerships, developing innovative digital offerings, and optimizing service performance to deliver profitable growth, enhanced customer value, and alignment with MTN’s strategic objectives Job Context •Dynamic and highly competitive telecommunication & ICT industry •Multi regulated environment •Environmental, social and governance prioritized •Evolving Telco with a focus on digital •Partnerships at the core of industry plans •Regionalization structure implication •Performance driven environment •Developing sophisticated client base •Diverse cultural environment •Active media engagement & brand reputation Key Tasks: Digital Product & Service Portfolio Management •Manage the development of the portfolio of services in the areas of VAS, CRBT, Music, Books, Newspapers, and oversee their financial performance. •Identify and explore new Lifestyle Digital Services such as Fitness, Sports, Comics, and Story Portals, Agriculture, etc. •Implement a product offering roadmap with a clear rollout plan for all partners. •Manage the development and expansion of new service within Digital Services e.g. Kids Content, News and Infotainment services. Partnership Development & Relationship Management •Source and evaluate partner proposals, analyse market demand, and assess relevance to target audiences. •Manage strategic partnerships with external organizations, innovators, and established industry players. •Implement engagement and usage programmes for all agreed partnership initiatives. •Monitor and evaluate existing partners and SLA agreements. Market Intelligence, Regulatory & Customer Insights •Maintain awareness of local content preferences, regulatory requirements, cultural sensitivities, and distribution challenges. •Leverage market and customer insights to inform partnership negotiations and tailor offerings to target segments. Strategy Execution & Commercial Growth •Support the implementation of the functional strategy in line with overarching business goals. •Execute the value proposition strategy to ensure the right customers are targeted appropriately across relevant geographies. •Drive service adoption, customer engagement, and revenue growth through strategic partner initiatives. Partner Governance, Compliance & Risk Management •Manage and monitor SLA compliance and partner performance. •Liaise with Legal and Revenue Assurance teams to ensure all partnerships and commercial arrangements follow due process and governance requirements. Technology Integration & Service Delivery •Lead integrations between MTN and third-party vendors. •Ensure thorough User Acceptance Testing (UAT) is conducted before launch. •Develop and apply appropriate checklists and procedures to strengthen UAT, integration quality, and service deployment processes.
