Role Overview

LB Group is seeking a motivated and people-oriented National Service Personnel with a background in Human Resource Management or a related discipline to support the organisation's HR and administrative functions. The successful candidate will gain practical exposure to recruitment, employee records management, onboarding, employee engagement, HR administration, performance management and other aspects of the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Support the HR team with day-to-day human resource administration.
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of employee records and personnel files.
  • Support recruitment activities, including preparing job advertisements, screening applications and scheduling interviews.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and orientation activities.
  • Support the preparation of employment documentation, HR letters and other correspondence.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate staff attendance, leave and other employee records.
  • Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures and employee initiatives.
  • Assist with training and development coordination.
  • Support employee engagement and welfare activities.
  • Assist with the preparation of HR reports and other management information.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and organisational information.
  • Support performance management and appraisal processes where required.
  • Undertake other HR and administrative duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Location: East Legon, Accra.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.

Good understanding of basic HR principles and practices.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organisational and administrative abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.

Attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Proactive, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
