Role Overview
LB Group is seeking a technically oriented National Service Personnel with a degree in Quantity Surveying to support its construction, property development and project-related activities. The successful candidate will work with experienced professionals and gain practical exposure to cost estimation, measurement, procurement, budgeting, valuation and construction project cost management.
Key
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities and cost estimates.
- Support the measurement and quantification of construction works.
- Assist with preparation and review of project cost documentation.
- Support the preparation of project budgets and cost plans.
- Assist with tender documentation and procurement activities.
- Support the evaluation and comparison of contractor quotations.
- Assist with interim valuations and payment documentation.
- Participate in site inspections and project monitoring.
- Assist in tracking project costs against approved budgets.
- Support the preparation of variation orders and related documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of project costs and documentation.
- Assist with preparation of cost reports for management.
- Liaise with project teams, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders as required.
- Perform other quantity surveying and project-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements
Location: East Legon, Accra.
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Good understanding of construction measurement and costing principles.
Familiarity with Bills of Quantities and construction documentation.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
Strong attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to interpret technical and construction-related information.
Willingness to undertake site visits and gain practical construction experience.
Strong interest in construction cost management and property development.
