Key Duties and

Responsibilities

  • Keep all office areas clean, including sweeping, mopping and polishing floors, vacuuming carpets and upholstery and dusting desks, chairs, cabinets and other furniture
  • Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors, empty waste bins and dispose of refuse appropriately
  • Clean and disinfect washrooms and kitchenette areas, regularly
  • Restock toiletries and cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when stock is low
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of cleaning materials and equipment
  • Report maintenance issues (e.g, leaks, breakages and faulty fittings) to the supervisor and carry out additional cleaning duties as assigned

Experience

  • Minimum of a BECE certificate or equivalent
  • Prior cleaning
  • Reliability, punctuality and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of basic hygiene and safety practices
  • Trustworthiness and a positive, serve-oriented attitude
  • Physical fitness to carry out manual cleaning tasks
  • Good interpersonal skills and a cooperative attitude
