Job Description
The
People & Culture Officer
is responsible for building and sustaining a high-performing, values-driven workplace at Npontu Technologies Limited.
The role is responsible for shaping and sustaining a positive and inclusive workplace culture through the development and implementation of people-focused policies, recruitment and onboarding, performance management, professional development, employee relations, engagement, and compliance.
The role also supports the company’s
Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG)
initiatives and change management efforts while promoting Npontu’s values across all teams and locations.
Key
Responsibilities
- 1. People & Talent Management
- Coordinate recruitment, selection, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR information systems.
- Support workforce planning and succession planning initiatives.
- Coordinate employee confirmations, promotions, transfers, and exits.
- Administer employee

- 2. Culture & Employee
Experience
Drive initiatives that strengthen Npontu’s culture, values, and employee engagement.
Coordinate staff welfare, recognition, and wellness programmes.
Organize employee events, town halls, and culture-building activities.
Support managers in fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.
Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
3. Performance & Learning
Coordinate performance management processes, including KPIs and performance reviews.
Identify learning and development needs and coordinate training programmes.
Monitor employee development plans and career progression.
Support leadership development and coaching initiatives.
4. ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance)
Develop and coordinate the company’s ESG framework, initiatives, and reporting.
Drive sustainability programmes that reduce environmental impact.
Coordinate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and community engagement initiatives.
Monitor ESG performance indicators and prepare periodic reports.
Promote ethical business practices and responsible corporate governance.
5. Compliance & Policy Management
Ensure compliance with labour legislation and internal policies.
Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures.
Support internal investigations and disciplinary processes.
Assist with audits relating to HR, labour, and ESG compliance.
Qualifications &
Bachelor’s degree in
Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology
, or a related field.
Professional HR certification such as
CIPM, SHRM, HRCI
, or equivalent is an advantage.
Knowledge of the
Ghana Labour Act
and HR best practices.
Knowledge of
ESG principles, sustainability frameworks, or CSR practices
is an advantage.
