Job Description
MJ Mineral Water Company, a newly established bottled water manufacturing company, is seeking energetic, committed, and results-oriented individuals to join its growing team. This is an opportunity to be part of a company from its early stages and contribute to its growth and success.
Key
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all production operations to ensure efficient and uninterrupted manufacturing of bottled water products.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults in production, bottling, packaging, and water treatment machines.
- Supervise production staff and ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets and minimize downtime.
- Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all equipment and machinery.
- Ensure all machinery and equipment are properly maintained and operating at optimum efficiency.
- Coordinate the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Ensure adequate stock of spare parts and maintenance tools.
- Investigate equipment failures and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor product quality throughout the production process and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Train and guide production personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
- Prepare production and maintenance reports for management review.
- Recommend improvements to production processes to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Requirements
- HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years'
Experience
- in production management, machine maintenance, or a similar manufacturing role.
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, fault diagnosis, and equipment maintenance.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and solve technical problems effectively.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and reporting skills.
- in the bottled water, beverage, or FMCG industry will be an added advantage.
