Overview Elrisa Chemical Limited , an emerging specialty chemicals company, is seeking a highly motivated, collaborative, and results-driven Research Chemist/Scientist to support the development of innovative, high-performance polymer solutions for industrial applications. Reporting to the R&D Director, this role combines hands-on laboratory research, experimental design, data analysis, and scientific communication to help transform polymer chemistry concepts into commercially viable products. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing new technologies and expanding Elrisa’s product portfolio. Key
Responsibilities
Lead and contribute to the development of petroleum-based and bio-based resin technologies for industrial applications. Design, execute, analyze, and document laboratory experiments with strong scientific rigor and attention to detail. Develop, optimize, and validate new formulations, test methods, and experimental approaches aligned with business objectives. Interpret experimental results and provide technical recommendations to support product development and commercialization. Prepare and communicate scientific findings through technical reports, presentations, training sessions, and industry conferences. Write, maintain, and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and laboratory documentation. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams. Contribute to a safe, organized, and efficient laboratory environment while adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Technical Skills Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline. 0–5+ years of
Experience
- in polymer synthesis, formulation, characterization, or application development.
