In this role, you will leverage expert knowledge in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks to lead 3D modelling and clash detection efforts. You will ensure seamless MEP and structural coordination from planning to completion, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and digital precision.
Duties and
Base salary paid into the bank account
Responsibilities
- Technical detailing: translate architectural concepts into detailed construction drawings, including sections, floor plans, and schedules.
- MEP coordination: understand how mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems integrate within a Revit model.
- Standards compliance: apply knowledge of international and local Ghanaian building codes and BIM standards.
- Data management: extract accurate quantities directly from the Revit model to support quality assurance and quantity surveying teams.
- Team collaboration: work closely with MEP Managers and Project Managers to resolve design conflicts before they reach the site.
- Problem solving: identify structural inconsistencies in the digital model to help save costs and prevent delays during physical execution.
Requirements
- Minimum Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Architectural Technology, or a related Built Environment discipline.
- Specialised certification in BIM Management or Revit Professional Certification from Autodesk is preferred.
- Two to five years of
Experience
- in a BIM-focused role within the construction or architectural industry.
- in high-end residential villas or large-scale public infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
- Expert knowledge of Autodesk Revit, including family creation, worksharing, template management, and complex 3D modelling.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D drafting, legacy drawings, and site plan adjustments.
- Ability to use Navisworks for clash detection, especially identifying conflicts between MEP systems and structural beams.
