- Telecommunication infrastructure services company is seeking suitably qualified, experienced and technically competent professionals to join its Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Team.
- The successful candidates will support the operation, maintenance and restoration of rural telecommunications sites, including RAN/RF equipment, solar and DC power systems, batteries, antennas, transmission infrastructure and associated site facilities.
- We are looking for practical, safety-conscious professionals who can work independently in remote locations and respond effectively to site faults and network outages.

Job Purpose
- The Rigger - RF will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, replacement and inspection of RF antennas, RF cables, RRUs and associated telecommunications infrastructure at telecom sites.
- The successful candidate must combine strong tower/pole rigging and working-at-height skills with practical knowledge of RF telecommunications equipment.
- This is a highly practical field position and requires candidates who are comfortable working at height and in challenging rural environments.

Responsibilities
- RF & Antenna Works
- Install, remove and replace RF antennas and associated equipment.
- Install and maintain RF cables, feeders, connectors and accessories.
- Install and replace RRUs and associated mounting hardware.
- Perform antenna mounting and alignment activities.
- Assist with antenna azimuth and mechanical/electrical tilt adjustments.
- Inspect RF cables for damage, improper routing, water ingress and poor connections.
- Inspect and maintain RF connectors and weatherproofing.
- Ensure proper grounding and bonding of RF equipment.
- Assist with RF fault diagnosis and testing.
- Rigging & Structural Works
- Perform tower/pole climbing and work-at-height activities.
- Install and maintain antennas, brackets, cable supports and other elevated equipment.
- Inspect poles/towers and associated mounting structures.
- Check bolts, clamps, brackets and fixing systems.
- Identify corrosion, deformation, loose components and other structural defects.
- Safely use ropes, harnesses, pulleys, lifting equipment and other rigging tools.
- Assist with lifting and lowering telecom equipment.
- Follow approved rigging plans and lifting procedures.
- Site Maintenance
- Conduct routine physical inspection of RF and antenna infrastructure.
- Identify damaged or defective equipment.
- Installation, commissioning, upgrades and decommissioning activities.
- Maintain site cleanliness and proper cable management.
- Report vandalism, theft and structural damage.
- Complete work orders and technical reports accurately.
- HSE & Emergency Response
- Strictly comply with working-at-height requirements.
- Conduct pre-climb and equipment inspections.
- Use approved fall-arrest and personal protective equipment.
- Follow rescue and emergency procedures.
- Participate in toolbox meetings and risk assessments.
- Stop work where unsafe conditions are identified.
- Maintain a strong safety culture at all times.

- Have good communication and technical reporting skills.
- Be physically and mentally prepared for field-based work.
- Be willing to travel extensively across Ghana.
- Be willing to work weekends, holidays or outside normal working hours when required for emergency restoration.
