Summary: Senior Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Officer will provide technical support for the design and implementation of the Strengthening Infectious Disease Detection Systems (STRIDES) Activity in Ghana. S/He will be responsible for developing and updating the STRIDES performance monitoring plan, developing data collection tools and systems, tracking implementation progress and gaps and advising the team on priority actions for achieving results. S/He will oversee the preparation of project reports, documentation and dissemination of success stories and lessons learned, and keep the STRIDES project team updated on the Monitoring and Evaluation guidance and requirements. S/He will plan and manage data collection activities for STRIDES in Ghana. S/he will be working closely with STRIDES project and Headquarter (HQ) teams and will support the project by evaluating programmatic effectiveness, overseeing technical aspects, and providing technical assessment reports. Leads and coordinates program evaluations and the identification, monitoring, and reporting on all program indicators Manages and supports strategies and planning for STRIDES project technical assistance to develop, evaluate and/or update reporting systems. Works closely with the team to ensure project implementation remains technically sound and adheres to FHI 360’s strategy and standard operating procedures (SOP’s). Fosters and facilitate information, experience, best practices, and resource exchange amongst project staff.
