Responsibilities
Clinical Service Delivery • Perform obstetric, gynecological, abdominal, and other ultrasound examinations as required. • Produce accurate and timely ultrasound reports to support clinical diagnosis and treatment decisions. • Prepare and position clients appropriately before ultrasound procedures. • Ensure high standards of client care, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality during all procedures. • Collaborate effectively with clinicians and other healthcare staff to support quality service delivery. Quality Assurance & Compliance • Ensure compliance with MSIG clinical protocols, infection prevention and control (IPC) standards, and professional guidelines. • Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance of ultrasound equipment and report faults promptly. • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all ultrasound procedures conducted. • Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives within the centre. Equipment & Operational Support • Ensure proper handling and effective utilization of ultrasound equipment and accessories. • Monitor availability of consumables and supplies required for ultrasound services and report shortages promptly. • Support efficient scheduling and coordination of ultrasound appointments. Client Care & Collaboration • Provide clear explanations and reassurance to clients regarding ultrasound procedures. • Always maintain professionalism and compassionate client interaction. • Promote client-centered care and uphold MSIG values and safeguarding standards. • Work collaboratively with the centre team to support smooth clinical operations.
