Job Description
Wilmar Africa Limited is hiring a Stock Controller to work with the Financial Controller and support internal Accounts and inventory operations. The role focuses on accurate stock records, warehouse oversight, stock counts, batch tracking, and inventory control in a manufacturing or agricultural commodities environment.

Department focus: internal Accounts, stock control, warehouse oversight, and inventory records.
Reports to the Financial Controller.
Role focus: accurate inventory records, batch traceability, stock movement control, and support for strong internal controls.
The position is suited to someone comfortable working between finance, stores, warehouse, production, and operations teams.
Key
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records for inventory received, stored, transferred, and dispatched.
- Track stock by batch, supplier, receipt date, quantity, and storage location.
- Maintain strict batch identification and segregation and apply FIFO principles where required.
- Keep records of moisture test results and other stock quality information.
- Conduct routine stock counts, cycle counts, monthly stock counts, and year-end inventory checks.
- Provide independent oversight of warehouse stock movements and support strong internal control over inventory.
- Reconcile physical stock balances with system records and investigate differences promptly.
- Monitor stock documentation from receiving through storage, movement, and issue.
- Work with stores, warehouse, production, finance, and operations teams to keep stock data reliable.
- Prepare stock reports and provide inventory information needed for management and audit review.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of

- in inventory control, warehouse management, stock accounting, or a similar role.
- in agricultural commodities, tree crops, or manufacturing is an advantage.
- with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain reliable stock records.
