Responsibilities
Inventory & Stock Management Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming stock and deliveries accurately. Ensure all items received correspond with invoices, purchase orders, and delivery documentation. Organize and store stock properly according to operational and safety standards. Issue stock only upon proper authorization and approved requisitions. Monitor stock levels and immediately report shortages, damages, variances, or expiries. Conduct regular stock counts and assist during inventory audits and monthly stock exercises. Ensure strict adherence to FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures. Documentation & Record Keeping Maintain accurate stock records, bin cards, requisition forms, and inventory logs. Ensure all stock movements are properly documented and signed. Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports. Operational Support Support departments with urgent supply requests when necessary. Coordinate effectively with procurement, receiving, and operations teams. Ensure proper handling of fragile, perishable, and high-value stock items. Housekeeping & Compliance Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within all store areas. Ensure compliance with operational, hygiene, and safety standards. Prevent unauthorized access to stores and safeguard company inventory and assets.
