Responsibilities
- Ensure written schemes and procedures are detailed and comprehensible for electrical and instrumentation activities.
- Perform 5% over-inspection of daily inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Identify and implement improvements in processes, materials and designs to reduce maintenance cost and improve quality and productivity.
- Produce weekly plant activity reports including equipment condition, spares availability and area plans, and provide technical support to resolve quality, productivity, timeliness and cost issues.
Experience
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or its equivalent.
- Certified by Inspectorate Division of the Minerals Commission of Ghana as an Engineering Superintendent.
- Member of Ghana Institution of Engineers (GHiE).
- Valid Ghanaian Driving Licence and proficiency to drive light vehicle.
- Minimum of eight (8) years working
- Very strong human relations skills and ability to interact with people of diverse cultures and values.
- Advanced knowledge of preventative, predictive, and shutdown maintenance strategies.
- Strict familiarity with the Minerals and Mining Regulations of Ghana.
- Sound business acumen in managing OPEX/CAPEX budgets, component rebuild cycles, and critical spare parts inventory.
- Deep technical expertise in heavy-duty crushing (jaw, gyratory, cone) and ore transfer systems.
