- KGL Technology is hiring a Tax Officer to manage tax compliance, planning and reporting for the company and related entities across diverse tax regimes.
- Key
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file statutory tax returns, including corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, PAYE, transfer-pricing returns and industry-specific levies.
- Compute monthly, quarterly and annual tax provisions and liabilities.
- Monitor tax legislation and advise the Group CFO and business units on required actions.
- Manage relationships with the Ghana Revenue Authority and other tax authorities.
- Support transfer-pricing documentation and inter-company transaction compliance.
- Reconcile tax general-ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies between filings and financial records.
- Maintain a tax compliance calendar and coordinate with external tax advisers and auditors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as CITG, ICAG, ACCA or equivalent is required.
- Minimum five years' tax compliance or advisory
Experience
- in an in-house corporate tax function.
- Strong working knowledge of Ghanaian tax legislation and GRA processes.
- Exposure to regulated sectors such as gaming or financial services is preferred.
