Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise the company’s transport and fleet operations.
- Plan and monitor daily vehicle schedules, routes, pickups, and deliveries
- Coordinate drivers and ensure timely execution of assigned trips.
- Monitor vehicle movements and ensure efficient utilization of the fleet.
- Track fuel consumption, mileage, vehicle usage, and maintenance costs.
- Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained and have valid statutory documents.
- Monitor drivers’ compliance with road safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate vehicle servicing, repairs, and breakdowns.
- Liaise with clients, drivers, mechanics, and other service providers on transport-related matters.
- Prepare regular transport and fleet performance reports for management.
- Identify and implement measures to improve operational efficiency and reduce transportation costs.
- Respond promptly to transport-related challenges and ensure minimal disruption to logistics operations.
