Responsibilities
- What the holder will do
- Establish the Company's finance function — structure, systems, controls, reporting calendar and team.
- Own financial governance: budgeting, expenditure control, banking and payment controls, cash-flow planning, and the authority bands set out in the Delegation of Authority Matrix.
- Lead financial reporting to management and the Board, and prepare the Company for external audit.
- Steward capital: preservation, responsible deployment, and the transition from initial capital support to contract-generated revenue and sustainable operations.
- Lead commercial and financial structuring of engagements, including project costing, pricing and margin discipline.
- Support the financial structuring of infrastructure and public–private partnership opportunities, including project finance, consortium arrangements and project-specific special purpose entities.
- Build the Company's readiness for engagement with banks, development finance institutions, export credit agencies and investors, including the financial due diligence such counterparties apply.
- Ensure compliance with Ghanaian tax, statutory and regulatory financial obligations.
Experience
Location: Tema, Greater Accra, Ghana.
