Advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in Education, Digital Education, Educational Technology, Artificial Intelligence in Education, Instructional Design, Teacher Education, Data Science, Monitoring and Evaluation, Development Studies, Public Policy or a related field.

A first university degree combined with additional years of relevant professional

technology, teacher professional development, AI-enabled learning solutions,

Demonstrated

A detailed technical proposal:

Candidates must submit a detailed technical proposal that demonstrates a clear understanding of the assignment and directly responds to the full scope of work, deliverables and technical evaluation criteria.

The proposal should explain the consultant's approach to providing programme management, technical coordination and implementation support for UNICEF Ghana's Digital

and AI Teacher Companion programme. It should present a practical methodology for coordinating implementation across multiple partners, supporting the development, testing and deployment of the AI Teacher Companion, and ensuring alignment with Government priorities, teacher needs and programme objectives.

The proposal should include a realistic implementation approach and workplan, outlining key activities, stakeholder engagement, programme governance, quality assurance, risk management, monitoring, reporting and adaptive management arrangements throughout the consultancy period.

Candidates should demonstrate how they will support coordination of teacher professional development, user testing, implementation research, monitoring and learning, Government engagement, knowledge management, communications, donor reporting and programme sustainability. The proposal should also describe the consultant's approach to responsible AI, child safeguarding, data protection, privacy, accessibility, gender equality, disability inclusion and the effective adaptation of AI-enabled tools within the Ghanaian

context.
