This senior position offers the unique chance to define and execute the geology and exploration strategy within our Africa Business Unit, significantly impacting the growth trajectory and technical excellence of Iduapriem's operations.
- Reporting directly to senior executive leadership, your visionary leadership will guide all exploration activities, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and market demands. You will play a central role in expanding our resource base, enhancing operational efficiencies, and maintaining rigorous compliance with international standards. This role is based on-site at the Iduapriem Mine, offering direct engagement with operational and technical teams.

Key Accountabilities

- Proactively identify, evaluate, and lead the pursuit of new exploration opportunities including acquisitions, joint ventures, as well as greenfield and brownfield projects to ensure a continuous and sustainable resource pipeline.
- Strategize and execute long-term resource growth and reserve replacement initiatives, securing the mine’s production capabilities for the future.
- Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership and the Board on geological risks, opportunities, and strategic decisions, providing clear, data-driven insights to support effective governance.
- Authorize and supervise all drilling programs, carefully managing budget allocations and endorsing resource modelling methodologies to uphold technical precision and financial prudence.
- Maintain the highest integrity and accuracy of geological data reporting, ensuring compliance with international codes such as JORC and NI 43-101.

Qualifications
