Ghana Railway Development Authority is seeking to recruit Heavy Locomotive Maintenance Officer (2 Positions).
Job Summary
•To supervise maintenance teams and coordinate locomotive fleet activities
Key Responsibilities
- •Supervise scheduled inspections, servicing and preventive maintenance on diesel-electric locomotives.
- •Plan and monitor diagnosis and mechanical system faults
- •Ensure compliance with safety, maintenance procedures and operational requirements
- •Coordinate with operations and engineering teams to report on maintenance
- Qualification Required & Experience
- •Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- •Minimum of 4 years industrial experience in locomotive or heavy equipment maintenance
- •Strong leadership, planning and supervisory skills
- •Good knowledge of railway maintenance procedures and workplace safety standards
