Responsibilities
- Learn and implement secure software development practices.
- Conduct Static Application Security Testing and Dynamic Application Security Testing.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on web and mobile applications.
- Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in application code and APIs.
- Document findings, remediation guidance, testing methods, and final security reports.
Requirements
- Passion for cybersecurity and application security.
- Good documentation, problem-solving and communication skills.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of programming, web applications, APIs, operating systems, networking and cybersecurity principles is helpful.
- Interest in secure coding, vulnerability testing, SAST, DAST, code review, OWASP concepts and security reporting.
- Access to a computer and reliable internet connection.
