Comfort handling large, messy journals, ledgers and reports and turning them into clean structured files.
Strong command of Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, IF statements and multi-tab workbooks.
Good written and spoken English for documenting work and communicating updates.

Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sort raw transaction journals, general ledgers and accounting exports into structured, workable files.
- Trace transactions and journal entries through accounting records back to source documents, then identify items that do not tie or look incorrect.
- Build pivot tables, maintain multi-tab Excel files, verify formula integrity and support senior analysts with workbook preparation.
- Support reconciliations between bank, credit card activity, accounting records and flags for items that require review.
- Manage assigned tasks from start to finish, track deadlines and communicate progress without constant follow-up.
