Role Description
The Marketing Communication Manager is a contract role responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing communication and marketing initiatives that support SkyTech Ghana’s clients and internal brand. This hybrid position is based in Tema, with a mix of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day
Responsibilities
include developing and implementing marketing communication plans, crafting clear messaging for campaigns, preparing press releases and media materials, and managing content across digital channels. The role also involves coordinating strategic communications for product launches and events, overseeing project timelines and deliverables, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand positioning. The Marketing Communication Manager will track performance metrics, prepare periodic reports, and recommend improvements based on insights and feedback.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills with the ability to craft clear, engaging messaging for diverse audiences.
Experience
- in Marketing Communications, including campaign planning, content development, and brand alignment.
- Background in Strategic Communications, with the ability to align messaging to business goals and stakeholder needs.
- Ability to write and manage Press Releases and other media-facing materials, and coordinate with media outlets as needed.
- Project Management skills to plan, organize, and deliver multiple communication initiatives on time and within scope.
- Understanding of digital marketing channels (e.g., social media, email, web) and how to integrate them into communication plans.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with comfort using data to refine messaging and campaign strategies.
