At Tropo Farms, we don't operate in a "perfect ecosystem." We are looking for a battle-hardened
MEP & Processing Maintenance Manager
to take full ownership of our infrastructure and industrial capabilities.
This role is not for a "desk engineer" or someone looking for their first management break. You will manage multiple dispersed sites, navigate a slow procurement process, and lead a technical team that requires constant auditing and high-level technical mentorship. We need a manager who comes to put order into chaos, not someone who needs to be taught how to lead.
What You Will Do
Restore Order:
Implement formal procedures and maintenance routines where they are currently lacking.
Technical Auditing:
Our base technicians have skill gaps. You must have deeper practical knowledge than your crew to identify wrong diagnostics and ensure work is done right the first time.
Manage in Scarcity:
Procurement is slow; the plant cannot stop. You will lead contingency planning, manage critical spares, and find safe, creative ways to keep equipment running while awaiting definitive solutions.
Utility & Infrastructure Ownership:
Take charge of Power Generation (Diesel/Solar/Grid), high/low voltage distribution, and water treatment across all sites.
Cold Chain & Processing:
Direct the maintenance of industrial refrigeration (ice machines/cold rooms) and food processing machinery, ensuring zero downtime for production.
Project Vision:
Lead the integration of new equipment for upcoming expansions, building maintenance protocols from scratch.
