Tobinco Pharmaceuticals Limited is hiring a Pharmacist - Marketing Support to provide technical and regulatory depth to its marketing function in Accra. The role is designed for a registered pharmacist who understands both the science behind pharmaceutical products and the commercial discipline required to position them responsibly in the market. The successful candidate will work with marketing and sales colleagues on product launches, product information, promotional materials, market-development activities and training content. This is a bridge role: it requires enough technical confidence to review product claims, interpret regulatory expectations and advise on appropriate messaging, while also being practical enough to support campaign execution, product education and customer-facing marketing activity. The position suits someone who can explain pharmaceutical information clearly, think commercially without weakening compliance standards, and help teams make product decisions grounded in evidence, market insight and FDA requirements. The person should be comfortable preparing product analyses, reviewing content, supporting launches and translating product knowledge into training that sales and marketing teams can use in the field.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical input into marketing strategies, campaigns, product positioning and market-development plans.
- Develop or review product information, promotional materials and training content before use by sales and marketing teams.
- Support product launches through product education, market feedback, competitor analysis and regulatory guidance.
- Review marketing content for alignment with FDA requirements, approved product information and applicable pharmaceutical regulations.
- Monitor customer feedback, market trends and competitor activity to help the business refine product messaging and campaign priorities.
- Support pharmaceutical and healthcare digital-marketing initiatives with accurate technical input and appropriate product claims.
- Prepare product analyses, reports, presentations and briefing materials for internal decision-making.
- Work closely with sales, marketing and regulatory colleagues to strengthen product knowledge and consistent market communication.
Requirements
- BPharm or PharmD from a recognised institution.
- Registered pharmacist in Ghana with a valid professional licence.
- About five years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Experience in pharmaceutical marketing, product management, regulatory affairs or medical detailing will be an advantage.
- Experience supporting product launches and promotional content will be an added advantage.
- Strong pharmaceutical knowledge, communication, presentation, report-writing and analytical skills.
- Commercial awareness, teamwork, attention to detail and the ability to work within regulatory boundaries.
Knowledge and Skills
Ability to balance pharmaceutical accuracy with market-facing product communication.
Strong research, product-analysis and stakeholder-support skills.
Good judgement in reviewing promotional material for compliance and clarity.
