Job Purpose
FarmMate Africa is hiring a Procurement Coordinator for its Tomato & Vegetable Distribution Center on the Legon Bypass, to help secure reliable, good-quality produce supply from farmers and other sources feeding the center.
What The Role Involves
Source and coordinate the purchase of tomatoes, vegetables and related supplies from farmers, aggregators and other suppliers.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to keep produce quality, pricing and delivery schedules dependable.
Track incoming orders against what the distribution center actually needs, and flag shortfalls or quality issues early.
Keep procurement records, supplier information and purchase documentation organised and up to date.
Work closely with the logistics and sorting/fulfillment teams so procurement volumes match what the center can process and distribute.
What You'll Bring
A hardworking, organised approach and genuine interest in procurement, sourcing or supply chain work; familiarity with agricultural produce or farmer relationships is an advantage.
