Job Description
The Project Coordinator will play a key role in planning, coordinating, implementing and monitoring Akwaaba Volunteers’ community projects and initiatives. The successful candidate will help drive projects forward and ensure that activities are properly organised, delivered effectively and aligned with the organisation’s mission.
The role will support and coordinate activities across our:
Library
IT Centre
Sewing Centre
Hair Salon
Barbering Shop
New and emerging community projects
Key
Responsibilities
Location: Labadi, Accra
Coordinate the planning, implementation and day-to-day activities of assigned projects.
Work closely with project teams, beneficiaries, volunteers and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered effectively.
Develop and maintain project work plans, schedules and activity trackers.
Monitor project progress and identify potential challenges or areas requiring attention.
Support the effective use of project resources and assist with coordinating operational requirements.
Collect relevant project information, maintain accurate records and support reporting.
Assist with monitoring project outcomes and assessing the impact of activities on beneficiaries and the wider community.
Coordinate meetings, site activities, events and other project-related engagements.
Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Contribute ideas and support the development of new projects and community initiatives.
Ensure that project activities are implemented in line with agreed plans, timelines and organisational objectives.
